1. Who we are

Heywood Fence Quotes is run by Peter Colburn trading as Quote Local Trades, Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ. Heywood Fence Quotes is part of Quote Local Trades. Email: enquiries@quotelocaltrades.co.uk

2. What we do, and what we don't

3. Any contract is between you and the firm

If you agree a job, the contract is between you and that firm, not us. The firm is responsible for its quote, its work, its prices and its insurance. Please check these with the firm before you agree anything. Your normal consumer rights against the firm aren't affected (see your rights).

4. How we're paid

We are paid by the firm we pass enquiries to: a fee for each enquiry we pass on. You don't pay us anything. This doesn't change how we treat your enquiry.

5. What we check

Our How we check page lists each check we've done on a firm, the date we did it, and what we don't check.

6. Using the site

Please only send real enquiries about your own property, or with the owner's permission. Don't upload anything offensive or anyone else's personal details. We may delete enquiries that look like spam or misuse.

7. Our responsibility

We take reasonable care to run this service properly. We're not responsible for the work, advice or conduct of the firms, because we don't control them. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

8. Complaints

If you have a problem with a firm we passed your enquiry to, please tell us as well as the firm. We'll look into it and may stop passing enquiries to that firm. If you're unhappy with us, contact us using the details on this site.

If we can't resolve your complaint, free advice is available from Citizens Advice (England and Wales), Advice Direct Scotland or Consumerline (Northern Ireland). We are not currently signed up to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the protection of the consumer laws there, you can bring a claim in your local courts, and we would only bring a claim against you in your local courts.
