Review policy

We show no reviews until real ones exist. There are no reviews on this site yet. This page explains how real ones will be collected and shown.

How we will collect reviews

About 30 days after we pass on an enquiry, we'll send one email asking for feedback. We'll send the same email to everyone, not just people we think are happy.
Only people whose enquiry we actually passed on can leave a review.
We never offer money, discounts, prize draws or anything else in return for a review.
We don't write reviews ourselves. We don't accept reviews from the firms, their families or friends, or anyone connected to us. We don't buy or swap reviews.

We'll publish all genuine reviews, good and bad, with the date and job type.
We won't edit what people write. The only exception is removing personal details (like a phone number or address), and we'll mark where we've done that.
Where a review was left on another site, we'll link to the original.
We'll only remove a review if it's unlawful, abusive, or reveals someone's personal details. If we remove one, we'll say so on this page and give the reason.
We won't show star ratings, averages or "number of reviews" counts until real reviews exist. Even then, we'll show the full set, not a selection.
